YES!! We adopoted... again...

HAhaHahA! Sorry! That was kind of a cruel post title! But I wanted to introduce everyone to the newest member of our family, um..... Kitty. We actually got her about a month ago. The family has yet to agree on a name for the poor creature, so we all just call her "Kitty." Other name candidates have included "Sharpay"- does that surprise anyone given Kairi's obsession with HSM- "Millie" because daddy (and mommy) love Paul Millsap (Have you seen him?!?! He's GORGEOUS!!) "Jazz"- I think that one is a no-brainer, "Sloth"- Kairi said we canNOT call her Sharpay because her eyes don't look like Sharpay's, they look more like a Sloth's, and my personal favorite "Beesley"- after Pam on "the Office." Anyway- we just can't seem to agree. Let me know what you like the best.
I am so NOT a cat person, but after seeing a few mice in my house or the same mouse a few times ( I spent countless hours cleaning every little crack and crevice in search of the long lost cheerio or raisin that might be enticing the little rodents into my house, found nothing and still felt grossed out) I felt like a cat was our best protection. So, Here she is...

She is actually very sweet and has grown on me. We also recently re-acquired my husband's childhood dog, Bear- He's very creative with the name-choosing, isn't he? That rascal has yet to grow on me though with barking at 6 am, so he does not yet deserve his own post... damn dog...

But with a cat, a dog, and soon to be 1 or more horses, we are fitting right in here in Hooper...
