Kairi said we had to put a sign that said "no peeking" by daddy's presents because Mr. Pig on "Word World" is always getting into trouble peeking at his birthday presents...

Brian turned 26 on Friday. Kairi and I were slacking a bit in the gift planning department, so I asked her that morning what she wanted to get her daddy... She always thinks of the most thoughtful presents all by herself. She sat there for just a second to ponder and then said enthusiastically "JAZZ SHOES!!!" To clear up some possible confusion- my husband is not a fox-trotting kind of guy. Kairi meant basketball shoes, "Utah Jazz shoes."I was sure Brian had tipped her off because he had been asking for new basketball shoes, but he didn't! She is just that intuitive!!! So- off we headed to BIG 5 to pick up some new basketball shoes for daddy. But not before Kairi made Daddy his favorite, Sugar Cookies...

I love the Jazz cookies and shoes! What thoughtful girls you have. I wish I could have met Regan! Well, maybe next time, Spencer and her could be friends:)
