I was having a hard time finding the motivation to change my blog background and playlist... It was the last little bit of Christmas I was desperately holding on to! But alas! Christmas is over and it was definitely time for a change!
So... instead of changing back to the same ole' year-round go-to playlist, I decided to lay my dignity on the line here and play a few of my guilty pleasures. Not all I would consider my favorite songs (though some are- so be careful what you make fun of- isn't "Everybody" by the Backstreet Boys on everyone's favorite list?!?!) , and not all of them are songs I am ashamed of (though, again a lot are... am I proud that Neil Diamond is on here more than once?!?! NO!!!! But I can take pleasure in the fact that if my dad is somewhere reading this, he is proud of his daughter and fellow Neil Diamond fan) ... Some are nostalgic... some are just fun...but they do all have ONE THING in common...
Whenever I hear them, I just have to...
TURN UP THE VOLUME!!! FULL BLAST!
I don't know what it is, something in me just feels the need... the need for... VOLUME!!!
So, I invite you to do the same and enjoy my silly and sometimes EMBARRASSING little playlist!

Oh Kim- you’re so much fun! I would say that the Backstreet Boys was the most shocking thing on here. BUT- That song "Everybody" is a fun one to dance to! A lot of those brought back some fond memories, especially Moulin Rouge, Gangstas Paradise, Weezer, Thursday, oh and Mr. Roboto! Thanks for sharing!
