Lions & Tigers & Bears... oh MY!!!

We packed in all 7 of my mom's grandkids and made our annual trip to the zoo...

Then. the kids had some fun taking turns playing photographer with MY camera...

Just my every day point n shoot luckily- or these kids definitely would not be smiling!

And of course, what would a trip to Hogle Zoo be without comparing your growth to the growth of a gorilla?! Not quite sure why this is tradition...

We got to see the baby giraffe that was just born on July 30!

The kids all got to experience what elephant skin feels like....

Where the zookeepers got the elephant skin, I'm not sure. Maybe one of the elephants was being naughty...

All in all it was a day of a lot of fun for these cute little cousins!
